The first brother-sister coaching tandem to appear in NCAA basektball tournaments was Pitt coach Jamie Dixon and his sister, Maggie, of Army.
In 2006, Maggie coached Army to a win over Holy Cross in the Patriot League title game. That same day, brother Jamie coached the Pitt Panthers against Louisville on the same court.
Tragically, Maggie died a short time later of heart arrhythmia at age 28.
